Sarah Blackwood, DVM, DACVO
Dr. Sarah Blackwood grew up in Maine and earned her Baccalaureate degree in Biology from Bowdoin College. She then went on to acquire her DVM degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a small animal internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston her ophthalmology residency was fulfilled at the University of Florida. She has been a Board Certified Ophthalmologist since 2012 and worked at the Animal Eye Specialty Clinic in South Florida since 2009. She has now come home to Maine. Outside of work Dr Blackwood enjoys photography, cooking and spending time with her family, elderly cat, Maile and rescued Boston Terrier, Dillon.
